The study investigated methods to improve the density and viability of transplanted hairs using hair auto-transplantation. Involving 31 patients, with 21 followed for 6 to 38 months, the procedure included harvesting scalp strips under low temperature, dividing them into grafts, and using sheath-insert hair transplantation. The results showed that the transplanted hair covered bald areas naturally, with a 33% higher density of surviving hair compared to traditional methods. The study concluded that this technique, which involved keeping some fat around hair follicles and using a microscope, was a simple, safe, and effective method for hair restoration.
