A 12-year-old girl initially presented with immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and severe anemia due to prolonged menstrual bleeding. Despite treatment, she experienced recurrent symptoms, including hair loss, and was later diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) based on laboratory findings, including a positive ANA test and elevated Anti dsDNA. The case highlights the importance of considering SLE in pediatric patients presenting with ITP.
