TLDR i-PRF and A-PRF show promise in promoting hair regrowth and improving scalp health in androgenetic alopecia.
Injectable platelet-rich fibrin (i-PRF) and Advanced platelet-rich fibrin (A-PRF) are emerging as promising treatments for androgenetic alopecia by promoting hair regrowth and improving scalp health. These therapies utilize autologous platelet-rich products to enhance circulation, activate dermal papilla cells, and reduce inflammation, aiding in hair follicle regeneration. While clinical evidence supports their effectiveness, additional research is needed to refine treatment protocols and optimize their use for different stages of androgenetic alopecia.
