This study investigates the effectiveness of hibiscus extract shampoo in treating hair loss among 6 cosmetology and beauty students from Padang State University. The research employed a pure experimental method, using observation, documentation, and assessment sheets for data collection. Statistical analysis, including normality and homogeneity tests, indicated that the data was normally distributed and had homogeneous variance. The independent sample test showed a significant difference in the effectiveness of shampoo use between a 2-day and a 3-day interval. The results concluded that using hibiscus extract shampoo every 2 days is more effective in preventing hair loss compared to every 3 days.
