    The study focused on developing a natural herbal shampoo using Cyclea peltata leaf extract, fermented with Lactobacillus plantarum, to create a product with beneficial properties for hair care. The research aimed to address the harmful effects of synthetic shampoos by utilizing natural ingredients known for their healing and protective qualities. Among 11 formulations tested, Formulation H2 was identified as the best due to its superior organoleptic and physicochemical properties, including a pleasant odor, pH of 3.01, solid content of 5.75%, wettability of 1.68 seconds, and 68.75% emulsification. The study concluded that Formulation H2 was the most effective herbal shampoo formulation.
