Formulation and Evaluation of Herbal Hair Serum and a Comparative Study with Marketed Formulations

The study developed a herbal hair serum using natural ingredients like flaxseed, fenugreek, aloe vera, orange peel, reetha, and castor oil, aiming to strengthen and nourish hair follicles. Four formulations were tested, with formulation F3 showing the best results in terms of texture, color, and spreadability. The serum demonstrated stability and effectiveness, with minimal side effects, and was found to be superior to two marketed herbal serums. The ingredients provided antioxidant properties and cleansing action, promoting hair growth, conditioning, and moisturization. Future in-vivo studies are recommended to further validate these findings.
