TLDR The herbal shampoo is a safer alternative to synthetic shampoos but needs more testing for effectiveness.
The study formulated and evaluated a multi-herbal shampoo using natural ingredients such as Aloe, Reetha, Shikakai, Hibiscus, and Amla, aiming to strengthen, darken, and cleanse hair while avoiding the adverse effects of synthetic shampoos like hair loss and scalp irritation. The herbal shampoo was compared to two commercial shampoos, highlighting the negative side effects of synthetic preservatives. Evaluations of the herbal shampoo included tests for physical appearance, pH, foaming ability, skin irritation, and washability, demonstrating its potential as a safer alternative. However, further scientific validation is needed to confirm its overall quality and effectiveness in promoting hair growth and reducing hair loss.
