A Review On Herbal Hair Gel Preparation And Evaluation

Desai Payal, Prarthana CY, GL Prabhushankar
Herbal hair gels, made from natural ingredients like flax seed and guava leaves extracts, show promise in reducing dandruff and regulating hair loss, which is often caused by microorganisms such as Staphylococcus aureus and Candida species. Flaxseed provides a strong base for hair strengthening, reducing hair fall, and treating the scalp due to its antimicrobial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory properties. These gels aim to repair damage caused by chemicals in commercial products. The study evaluated the gels based on color, transparency, smell, visual appearance, and presence of foreign particles, with a focus on the pharmacological evaluation of chia seed extract and aloe vera transemul gel.
