This review highlights the potential health benefits of apples and their derivatives, particularly in preventing cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) and other chronic conditions. Apples are rich in bioactive compounds like polyphenols and dietary fiber, which provide antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and glycemic-regulating effects. Regular consumption of apples is associated with improved cardiovascular health, reduced cholesterol, and enhanced glycemic control. Additionally, apples may aid in cancer prevention, cognitive health, and hair loss treatment. Whole apples are more beneficial than processed forms, and there is growing interest in apple by-products for their health-promoting properties. Overall, apples are a promising dietary strategy for chronic disease prevention and health promotion.
