TLDR Innovative techniques improve hair transplant results and satisfaction in patients with low donor hair density.
This study evaluated hair transplantation outcomes in 60 male patients with poor donor site density (<50 follicular units/cm²) in Pakistan. Two groups were compared: Group A underwent traditional FUE, while Group B received advanced techniques including body hair integration and enhanced extraction angles. Results showed that Group B had significantly better outcomes, with higher graft survival (82.4% vs. 68.7%), GAIS scores (4.2 vs. 3.5), and FACE-Q satisfaction ratings (75.2 vs. 61.7). The study concludes that innovative donor site strategies significantly improve transplantation outcomes and patient satisfaction in cases with poor donor density.
