TLDR Hair products with copper and zinc enriched yeast made hair thicker and denser.
The study investigated the effects of the "Khalgai" hair treatment product set, which contains copper and zinc enriched yeast hydrolysate, on human hair morphology. A total of 100 females from Ulaanbaatar, aged between 20 and 60, were divided into a control group (n=50) and an experimental group (n=50). The experimental group used the "Khalgai" products for 28 days. Quantitative trichoscopic analysis was performed to measure hair density, hair diameter, and the number of hairs per follicular unit before and after treatment. Results showed that after using the "Khalgai" set for 28 days, hair density increased by 14-25%, hair diameter by 7-13%, and the number of hairs per follicular unit by 1-7%. These improvements suggest that the copper and zinc enriched yeast in the "Khalgai" products may enhance hair and scalp nutrition, leading to improved hair morphology.
