The study evaluated the hair growth-promoting activity of petroleum ether extracts of Hemidesmus indicus Linn. (Seed) on Wistar Albino rats. The results indicated that the extract significantly promoted hair growth in the tested rats. This suggests that Hemidesmus indicus Linn. could be a potential natural remedy for hair loss.
