Prevalence of Hair Fall Behavior Among School and College Students in Chengalpattu

    The study conducted in 2017 investigated hair fall behavior among 400 school and college students in the Chengalpattu area. It aimed to identify factors affecting hair loss, focusing on the importance of food intake and other concerns. Using SPSS for data analysis, the study found that both school and college students experienced similar severity of hair fall, influenced by factors such as scalp condition, stress, and vitamin intake. The research highlighted that most respondents did not regularly follow diets or home remedies, suggesting that consistent adherence to these practices could improve hair growth and health.
