TLDR A woman's COVID-19 related hair loss improved after using a specific hair care routine for 30 days.
A 58-year-old woman who developed Telogen Effluvium (TE), a condition characterized by diffuse hair shedding, after a COVID-19 infection was treated with a hair care routine using specific products for 30 days. The products used were: Product A, a shampoo containing Aminexil, niacinamide, pyridoxine, and panthenol; Product B, a conditioner containing SP94 (glucose + linoleic acid); and Product C, treatment ampoules containing creatine, panthenol, and ceramide R. After the treatment, the woman showed a 100% improvement in hair loss, with negative results to traction test, trichoscopy, and trichogram analysis. She also reported high satisfaction with the treatment. The study suggests that this hair care routine could improve TE caused by COVID-19, possibly by reducing the inflammatory process in the scalp. However, larger clinical studies are needed to confirm this hypothesis.
