TLDR Astragalus polysaccharides nanogel heals wounds better than Gold-Silver nanocomposite gel.
This study compared the wound healing effects of Gold-Silver nanocomposite gel and Astragalus polysaccharides (APS) nanogel on 40 albino rats. The APS nanogel demonstrated superior wound healing capabilities, including significantly greater re-epithelialization, hair follicle regeneration, and nearly normal a-SMA levels compared to the Gold-Silver nanocomposite gel and untreated control groups. By the 15th day, the APS nanogel achieved more effective wound closure, indicating its potential as a better wound healing agent.
