TLDR Ginger extracts may help treat hair loss by reducing inflammation and promoting hair growth.
The study investigated the use of Ginger-Derived Extracellular Vesicles (GDEVs) to treat alopecia in a mouse model. GDEVs, isolated from ginger, contain 1,299 chemical compounds, with 13 key ingredients identified as crucial for hair proliferation. The results showed that GDEVs significantly reduced inflammation and promoted the proliferation of hair follicle stem cells, leading to rapid recovery and healthier hair growth in balding areas of the mice. This suggests that GDEVs could be a promising natural solution for treating hair loss.
