This case report described an instance of frontal fibrosing alopecia (FFA) in a patient undergoing treatment for chronic hepatitis C with interferon and ribavirin. FFA is a type of cicatricial alopecia characterized by irreversible hair loss, primarily affecting postmenopausal women, with its etiology linked to hormonal and immunological factors. Notably, this was the first documented case associating FFA with hepatitis C treatment, as no prior literature had reported such a connection.
