TLDR Fermented camel milk with pumpkin seed milk reduces oxidative stress and improves health markers in rats.
The study examined the effects of fermented camel milk mixed with pumpkin seed milk on oxidative stress in 32 male albino rats. Rats subjected to oxidative stress and treated with the milk blend showed significant improvements in oxidative stress markers, including reduced levels of malondialdehyde, LDL, cholesterol, triglycerides, AST, ALT, creatinine, and urea, and increased HDL, total protein, and albumin. The mixture enhanced antioxidant activity and sensory properties, suggesting its potential benefits in managing oxidative stress-related disorders. The study highlighted the therapeutic potential of this milk blend, although further research would be needed to confirm similar effects in humans.
