Feasibility of Preparation of Celery Hair Tonic (Apium Graviolens Linn) as a Hair Loss Treatment Cosmetic

    TLDR Celery extract can be used as a natural hair tonic for treating hair loss.
    This study investigates the feasibility of using celery (Apium Graviolens Linn) extract as a hair tonic for treating hair loss. The research includes laboratory tests, organoleptic tests, physical properties tests, hedonic tests, and pH tests. The celery extract contains 2.26 g/100 g of vitamin A and 18 mg/100 g of flavonoids. Results show that 86% of participants identified the typical celery smell, 71% noted the dark brown color, 57% found the absorption sufficient, and 71% liked the product. The pH test indicated a balanced pH of 4.53. The study concludes that celery extract is a viable ingredient for hair tonic due to its beneficial phytochemicals and vitamins, suggesting its potential as a natural alternative for hair health treatments.
