TLDR Narrowband-UVB phototherapy successfully treated a rare case of Graham Little-Piccardi-Lassueur syndrome.
The document reports a rare case of Graham Little-Piccardi-Lassueur syndrome (GLPLS), which is characterized by a specific set of symptoms including follicular papules, scarring alopecia on the scalp, and non-scarring alopecia in the groin or axilla. This syndrome has been documented in fewer than 50 cases. The case described was examined using non-invasive techniques, namely dermoscopy and in vivo reflectance confocal microscopy (RCM). The patient was successfully treated with narrowband-UVB (NB-UVB) phototherapy. This is the first reported case of GLPLS investigated with these methods and treated with this type of phototherapy.

Hair loss treatments discussed include minoxidil, finasteride, and RU58841. Salon products and supplements generally don't work for hair regrowth unless there's a severe nutritional deficiency, while hormonal treatments like estrogen and spironolactone can be effective.
