Erosive Pustular Dermatosis of the Scalp

    Six elderly women developed a chronic pustular dermatosis on the scalp, leading to scarring alopecia. Skin biopsies showed non-specific atrophy and chronic inflammation. The condition did not respond to antibiotics but was managed with potent topical steroids.
