TLDR Narasimham Hair Oil effectively promotes hair regrowth and scalp health without side effects.
This study assessed the efficacy and safety of Narasimham Hair Oil, an Ayurvedic polyherbal formulation, in promoting hair regrowth and scalp health. Conducted as an open-label trial with 100 participants (50 males and 50 females, aged 20–45) experiencing hair thinning, the oil was applied thrice weekly for 8 weeks. Results showed significant improvements in hair density (from 84.8 to 104.0 hairs/cm²), hair thickness (from 0.064 to 0.077 mm), and scalp health scores (from 2.9 to 1.1) by week 8, with benefits persisting at week 10. High user satisfaction was reported, with 95% noting stronger hair and reduced hair fall. No adverse effects were observed, supporting the oil's safety and effectiveness as a natural treatment for hair thinning and scalp issues.
