TLDR SVF treatment is more effective than Nanofat for hair growth.
A study conducted on 30 patients with androgenic alopecia compared the efficacy of autologous Nanofat injection (Group A) and stromal vascular fraction (SVF) injection (Group B) over 8 months. Results showed that Group B had better outcomes, with 26.7% showing great improvement and 46.7% showing moderate improvement, compared to 6.7% and 13.3% in Group A, respectively. Hair density increased from 129.5 ± 10.8/cm² to 158.1 ± 21.02/cm² in Group B, while Group A saw an increase from 129.9 ± 13.7/cm² to 139.5 ± 18.1/cm². Both treatments were effective, but SVF showed a statistically significant advantage in hair density, clinical improvement, and patient satisfaction.
