TLDR Adding nano fat to hair transplants improves results for scar-related hair loss.
The document reports on a study evaluating the effectiveness of autologous nano fat combined with Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) hair transplantation in treating cicatricial alopecia. The study involved 20 patients from Al-Azhar University Hospitals, divided into two groups: Group A (10 patients) received autologous emulsified fat followed by FUE, and Group B (10 patients) received only FUE. The results indicated that Group A had better outcomes, with more hair grafts remaining after 6 months, fewer hairs needed for transplantation, and greater overall improvement and satisfaction. The study concluded that using autologous emulsified fat with FUE is more effective than FUE alone for cicatricial alopecia treatment.
