TLDR Combining low-level laser therapy with scalp microneedling and a clobetasol solution significantly improves androgenetic alopecia.
The study investigated the effectiveness of Low-Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) combined with scalp microneedling in managing Androgenetic Alopecia (AGA). Three adult patients with AGA were treated with scalp microneedling using a 0.05% clobetasol propionate solution and LLLT for 25 minutes at monthly intervals. The results showed a statistically significant improvement after three months of treatment, suggesting that the combination of LLLT and scalp microneedling could be a safe and effective method for managing AGA.
