TLDR Bimatoprost is slightly more effective than minoxidil for eyebrow growth, and both are safe.
The study compared the efficacy and safety of bimatoprost 0.03% and minoxidil 3% for enhancing eyebrow growth in a randomized, double-blind, split-face design. Conducted at Mae Fah Luang University Hospital, the research involved applying each treatment to one half of the face of participants. The results indicated that both treatments were effective in promoting eyebrow growth, but bimatoprost showed a slightly higher efficacy compared to minoxidil. Both treatments were well-tolerated with no significant adverse effects reported.
