TLDR Pumpkin seed oil, rosemary oil, and electrotherapy showed no significant effect on hair loss.
This study aimed to compare the effects of pumpkin seed oil and rosemary essential oil blend, combined with electrotherapy, on androgenetic alopecia in young women aged 18 to 28 affected by stress. Participants were divided into two groups and underwent 12 intervention sessions. The outcomes were assessed using trichoscopy, hair coverage and length photos, weekly hair weighing, and scalp oiliness changes. The study found moderate correlations between the variables in both groups, but no statistically significant differences were observed, indicating a need for further research to better explore the efficacy of these oils.
