A 2-year-old male rabbit exhibited symptoms of itching, hair loss, and reddish-brown crusts on its ears, paws, and around its eyes, which were diagnosed as ear canker caused by the ear mite Psoroptes cuniculi. The treatment regimen included weekly subcutaneous injections of Ivermectin at 0.02 mg/kg for 4 weeks, intramuscular injections of Pheniramine maleate at 0.5 mg/kg, and daily topical applications of a honey and turmeric mix for 1 week. This treatment led to significant clinical improvement, with reduced itching and the restoration of a smooth and lustrous hair coat and skin.
