TLDR Anti-inflammatory diets may help hair regrowth in alopecia areata.
The scoping review titled "Dietary measures as an adjunctive therapy in alopecia areata" examines the potential role of diet in managing alopecia areata (AA) by influencing intestinal and skin inflammation. The review analyzed 14 articles that explored how different dietary interventions might promote hair regrowth in AA patients. The findings suggest that dietary measures with anti-inflammatory properties could be beneficial in supporting hair regrowth in individuals with AA, highlighting the importance of considering diet as a complementary approach in the treatment of this condition.
