TLDR Three Persian cats with mange were successfully treated with Ivermectin injections.
Three Persian cats with symptoms of itching, hair loss, and skin redness were diagnosed with notoedric mange at a veterinary hospital. Clinical evaluation showed crusty alopecic patches on their ears, face, and neck, and skin scrapings confirmed the presence of mites. The cats were treated with subcutaneous injections of Ivermectin at a dose of 0.2 mg/kg body weight weekly for four weeks, along with supportive therapy, leading to successful recovery.
