    The study analyzed brain energy metabolism in elderly individuals (60-74 years old) with varying levels of personal anxiety in the European North of Russia. It found that 64% of men had an average level of anxiety, while 73% of women had a high level. There were statistical differences in energy distribution in the frontal, central, and right-hemisphere brain regions between elderly men and women. Additionally, there was a tendency for increased total DC-potential indicators in elderly women.
