TLDR Water extract of cacumen platycladi helps hair growth by affecting specific cell pathways.
This corrigendum addresses an error in Figure 7 of the original article on the effects of water extract of cacumen platycladi (WECP) on hair growth via the Akt/GSK3β/β-catenin signaling pathway. The error involved the repeated pasting of images in the figure, which was corrected without affecting the study's conclusions. The research demonstrated that WECP promotes dermal papilla cell (DPC) proliferation and migration, crucial for hair growth, and these effects were inhibited by the Akt inhibitor MK-2206 2HCl. The study's findings remain valid, supporting the potential of WECP in treating alopecia through its action on hair follicles and related cellular pathways.
