    G Brindha, MADHANSHANKAR SR
The study investigated the relationship between dietary habits, age, and BMI among 80 women with PCOS and control participants. It found a significant link between poor dietary patterns and higher BMI, particularly in women aged 19-24, who had an average BMI of 31.6 kg/m². The study also noted a correlation between unhealthy diets, BMI, and the presence of hirsutism. ANOVA analysis confirmed a strong association between lifestyle factors and PCOS, with a p-value of 0.002. The study highlighted the need for increased awareness about the negative impacts of poor lifestyle choices on hormonal and metabolic health among women in the Coimbatore district of South India.
