It highlighted the plant's potential in treating cardiovascular, neurological, endocrine, and digestive system diseases, primarily through its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. In the skincare industry, Centella asiatica demonstrated significant potential for anti-aging, skin hydration, anti-acne, and enhancing skin regeneration and barrier properties. Key phytochemicals responsible for these effects included madecassoside, madecassic acid, asiaticoside, and asiatic acid. The review served as a reference for developing natural products based on these findings.
