    The study investigated the effects of black mud on collagen content and hair growth in mice. Over 35 days, black mud was applied to the shaved backs of mice. Results indicated an increase in collagen content and superoxide dismutase (SOD) activity in the skin, while malondialdehyde (MDA) levels showed a decreasing trend. Additionally, black mud significantly promoted hair growth and improved hair smoothness in mice.
