A 65-year-old man presented with a 3- to 4-mm pore on his cheek, which had been present for 6 years and frequently extruded a black substance. The lesion was diagnosed as a trichofolliculoma, an adnexal tumor of hair follicle origin. Histological examination revealed a dilated, keratin-filled invagination lined by keratinizing squamous epithelium, with numerous projections showing follicular differentiation. The patient's request for excision of the lesion was fulfilled.
