The review noted that while some mechanisms of the extracts' effects were described, the information was incomplete. Additionally, species like R. alveolatus and R. maritimus were identified as promising for further research due to their potential antibacterial, antitumor, antihyperglycemic activities, and their ability to stimulate hair growth and combat hyperpigmentation.
