TLDR Biofibre hair implant is a safe, effective treatment for baldness with 95% patient satisfaction.
The Biofibre hair implantation system is a safe and effective surgical treatment for alopecia, according to a retrospective study on 1,518 patients with varying degrees of baldness and different causes of alopecia. The study found that the procedure was well-tolerated by patients, with an average of 2,300 Biofibre® hair implanted per patient in total. The majority of patients underwent manual hair implant, and only 10.08% benefited from the automatic Biofibre hair implant. The complication rate decreased over the years, from 20.8% to 9.27%, thanks to the new biocompatible material used and less invasive devices. Overall, 95% of the patients considered have declared to be satisfied with the hair implant.
