Association of Bacterial Vaginosis and Skin Disorders in Patients With Autoimmune Antibody Positivity

    This study investigated the association between bacterial vaginosis and skin disorders in 80 patients with autoimmune antibody positivity. Bacterial vaginosis was found in 13.75% of the cases. Among those with bacterial vaginosis, 9.1% had skin disorders, compared to 90.9% in the bacterial vaginosis negative group. The study concluded that there was no relationship between bacterial vaginosis and the presence of skin disorders in these patients.
