A single case study demonstrated the successful Ayurvedic management of Indralupta, known in contemporary science as alopecia areata, an autoimmune condition causing patchy hair loss. The study attributes the condition to dietary factors that disturb bodily doshas, leading to hair fall. The Ayurvedic treatment aimed to restore dosha balance and promote hair regrowth, highlighting Ayurveda's potential in treating autoimmune diseases.
