TLDR Ayurvedic treatment improved hair loss in a 23-year-old male.
This single case report details the Ayurvedic management of a 25-year-old male with androgenetic alopecia, characterized by diffuse hair fall over the vertex of the scalp. The treatment involved a combination of Sadyovirechana, Prachhanna karma, Narasimha Rasayana, Abra loha, Shad bindu taila, and Bringamalaka taila over a period of three months. The interventions aimed to improve scalp circulation, remove obstructions in hair roots, and nourish hair. Photographic evidence showed increased hair density and reduced hair fall, indicating significant improvement and demonstrating the effectiveness of the Ayurvedic multimodal treatment approach for Khalitya.
