TLDR Certain plant extracts may help treat hair loss and promote hair growth.
The study "Aktivitas Antialopesia Sediaan Hairtonic Dari Berbagai Tanaman" discusses the potential of various plant extracts in treating hair loss as an alternative to synthetic hair tonics. The research indicates that parts of certain plants, including bidara leaves, kukukan leaves, celery leaves, hibiscus flowers, and candlenut, have shown effectiveness in promoting hair growth and preventing hair loss within a period of 4-8 weeks. These findings suggest that these plant-based hair tonics could be a safe and non-irritating option for treating alopecia.
