TLDR Finasteride may effectively treat hair loss in Klinefelter Syndrome patients.
This document is a case report and literature review of a 17-year-old male patient with Klinefelter Syndrome who developed androgenetic alopecia. The report suggests that finasteride may be an effective treatment option for these patients. The patient was also treated with oral minoxidil and low-level light therapy, resulting in excellent clinical improvement with increased hair density after 6 months of follow-up. The report discusses the potential link between Klinefelter Syndrome and androgenetic alopecia and explores various treatment options. Further research is needed to fully understand the connection between these two conditions.
