TLDR Adipose-derived stem cells show promise for cosmetic treatments but need more research.
Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) exhibit regenerative properties that hold potential for cosmetic treatments and addressing age-related changes. They are applied in treating senescent skin changes, restoring subcutaneous adipose layers, addressing photoaging, improving hypertrophic scars, and promoting hair regeneration in early androgenic alopecia. Despite their promise, more clinical research is necessary to confirm their effectiveness, determine optimal dosages, and establish the best methods of administration. ADSCs are becoming an important tool in cellular-based esthetic therapies.
