TLDR 5-Aminolevulinic acid can help chicken sperm move better at the right amount.
The study found that 5-Aminolevulinic acid (5-ALA) significantly improved chicken sperm motility. The optimal concentration was found to be 0.1 mM, beyond which the motility started to decrease. The addition of 0.05 mM 5-ALA increased various aspects of sperm motility, including progressive motility, linearity, average path velocity, curvilinear velocity, straight-line velocity, and the wobble. It also increased sperm mitochondrial membrane depolarization, which is thought to utilize ATP for enhancing sperm movement. However, 5-ALA treatment decreased sperm ATP levels. The study suggests that 5-ALA could potentially be used to enhance sperm motility in chickens, but the concentration needs to be carefully controlled.

Low-level laser therapy (LLLT) is debated for hair regrowth, with some users suggesting it should be combined with treatments like minoxidil and finasteride for effectiveness. Many users express skepticism about LLLT's efficacy and cost, emphasizing the need for the correct wavelength and quality devices.

A user shared their experience using 5% minoxidil twice daily, 1 mg finasteride daily, and weekly derma stamping for hair loss, noting no crown thinning but front diffuse thinning and hairline issues. They experienced fewer side effects on 0.5 mg finasteride but returned to 1 mg, and did not experience shedding after starting treatment.
