Xenografts, also known as xenotransplants, refer to the transplantation of cells, tissues, or organs from one species to another. For example, using pig skin grafts to treat human burn victims. This technique is often explored in medical research to address the shortage of human donors for organ transplants and to study disease mechanisms.
