Scalp laxity, also known as scalp flexibility or scalp looseness, refers to the degree of looseness or stretchability of the scalp tissue. It is an important factor in hair transplant surgery, as higher scalp laxity allows for easier removal and transplantation of hair grafts, while lower scalp laxity may limit the amount of donor hair that can be harvested.
