    Dermatillomania, also known as Excoriation Disorder or Compulsive Skin Picking, is a mental health condition characterized by the repetitive and compulsive picking of one's own skin, often leading to tissue damage, scarring, and significant distress or impairment in daily functioning. This behavior is often driven by anxiety or stress and can be associated with other disorders such as Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD).
