    GlossaryReproductive Age

period when individuals can biologically conceive and bear children

Reproductive Age, also known as Childbearing Age or Fertile Age, refers to the period in an individual's life when they are biologically capable of conceiving and bearing children. For women, this typically ranges from the onset of menstruation (menarche) in the early teens to the cessation of menstrual cycles (menopause) in the late 40s to early 50s. For men, it generally spans from puberty throughout most of their adult life, although fertility can decline with age.
