The compound was encapsulated into nanostructured lipid carriers to minimize the amount of UV filter needed. The resulting cream exhibited favorable skin application qualities, including appropriate pH, viscosity, and spreadability, and achieved a satisfactory SPF value of 16. The new compound was also shown to be non-toxic.
